As a citizen, your opinions and your voice counts! Make sure your representative has heard from you on this issue. With opportunities ranging from calling, writing or visiting with your representative's office to writing a Letter to the Editor, there is not a shortage of things to do! Be proud of who you are and your profession! Global warming is an issue that uniquely effects all types of people. It is important we express that global warming is something everyone cares about - join together with other individuals from your profession and make a statement! From Mothers to Scientists, Engineers to Students, Economists to Entertainers, there is always a place for your voice to speak out!
* Who do you know?
There are scores of people who are interested in the issues that need education - are you a part of an organization, club, association or a fellowship? Would your colleagues, friends, or family be interested in getting involved? Help to organize an event! We can support all types of activities ranging from a short 10 - 15 minute presentation, a longer presentation, or host a short film screening with a discussion and coordinated 'action' to follow.
* Tell 10 friends about it
So you are concerned about the issue, you have read the reports, you mailed a letter to your Congressional Representative and got a letter to the editor published.
